Pilar Ciria has a doctorate in Agricultural Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University and is a researcher at the CEDER-CIEMAT Biomass Unit. Her activities have always been related to resource evaluation, biomass production from energy crops and the characterization and pretreatment of biomass for energy use, with particular emphasis on energy crops (she is the head of this particular area of activity). Pilar is the creator of the BIORAISE and BIORAISE-CE applications for resource evaluation with regard to biomass and energy crops.
