Beatriz Ascencio graduated as a Chemical Engineer from José Simeón Cañas Central American University in 2011 and a Postgraduate in Finance from ISEADE (Institute of Economics and Business Administration) of El Salvador in 2017. She also has a Master’s Degree in Bioenergy Engineering and Energy Sustainability from the University of Valladolid.
She has worked in different industries: pulp and paper industry, sugar cane mill and a brewery, performing as Environmental Engineer and Process Engineer.
She previously carried out an internship and her Final Master Project: “Cogasification of municipal solid waste with forestry biomass" at the Thermal Conversion Processes Unit, where she is currently employed as a part of the LIFE DRY4GAS Project since March 2021.
